It looks like Spring has sprung. I hope you all are enjoying it. I’m looking forward to getting out and getting more exercise- including swimming and walking.

As far as the election goes, I’m learning more about the candidates and McCain is looking like the one I would trust as the President of The United States.

The special show that was just recorded, is one of those that makes me happy that I’m in radio. Every now and then something very real and full of meaning is exchanged with my guest or a caller and I love it that it’s being shared with people!
This one is about what so often happens when we lose a loved one- there’s some special way that person lets us know that their okay and that their love is still with us. The author who writes about this so eloquently is Dr. Janice Amatuzio in her book “Beyond Knowing”. She’s a forensic pathologist who shares some of the many stories she hears from families as well as what she see’s herself.
For instance, a man who wakes up having seen the organ donor that saved his life while he (the recipient) was in the process of the operation. Or the son who sees a big buck come through a clearing in the woods while hunting, the same clearing that his recently passed Father had told him a buck would emerge from one day.. Janice shares these and other accounts of “knowing”.

I feel that there’s a wisdom and Joy as a result of hearing so many mysteries. The show will play Sunday Feb. 17th at 7:00 PM.

The first hour (6:00 to 7:00) is with Marla a matchmaker from Beverly Hills who wrote “Excuse Me, Your Soul Mate is Waiting”. I like it that she mets people face to face (not just over the internet) and puts people together for dates to see if it’s a good match. She describes some basics of dating and how to increase the chances of finding that special person. For instance- DO NOT spend a lot of time complaining about your ex. Another good one Do listen to your date and deal with people honestly.

So, there’s an idea of what to expect this Sunday. Stay warm and safe on the roads!
